View Article  Two shows - kicking off October 5th

First up is a solo show by Space Invader at Lazarides Gallery, Greek Street (from October 5th to November 9th).  Entitled Invasion London -Bad Men Part II it will see the launch of the third Invasion Guide "Invasion In The UK"

Invader is also appearing at the second show to open at this time - Small, Medium and Large at the Elms Lesters Painting Rooms close by. Work at this show includes Adam Neate, Anthony Lister, Dalek, Delta, Futura, Jose Parla, Mark Dean Veca, PhilFrost, Ron English, Stash and WK Interact. The show is called Small, Medium and Large as each artist has been asked to submit a piece of work in each of these categories. Should make for a varied and interesting show!

Adverts made with stencils are normally don't interest me at all (anyone seen the Luis Vuitton ones for London Fashion Week) but this simple take on Ian Brown's instantly recognisable face is a real winner. It also appears on the front of his new album The World is Yours

Must be London Fashion Week - several floors of coats outside a building near Regent Street.

hello viewsonic - still no monitor (13 days)

View Article  Finally

Finally here's the third recent Banksy - it's taken an age to get it off the camera as my p.c. monitor is still dead - after nearly two weeks Viewsonic have still failed to replace it. Nobody seems to have a spare monitor these days. Anyway, this has appeared on the site of what many consider to be Banksy's regular spot by Old Street station. You can read more about what it means on the recently revamped Banksy.co.uk (and see a better picture too).

View Article  Secondly - Banksy strikes again?

Here's a welcome return for Banksy rat lovers everywhere that brings a new meaning to the word catapault. Location is near Old Street EC1, theres something of a clue in the background for those who like hunting the rats down. It sure looks like a Banksy....

View Article  First up

Some argued if August's post of an artist was indeed by Banksy - well there's more than a clue in this picture. In that post I said something about the fact that Banksy seemed to do his work in the East when the Met were occupied in the West in Notting Hill / Ladbroke Grove. Well that was a load of rubbish as this redresses the balance (which will give you a clue as to its general location).

And I love the way the CCTV camera just misses all the action!

Another picture will appear at 22.00 sharp (the third picture will appear on another day but can already be seen on Flickr courtesy of Shellshock photos)

My monitor's died but to be honest it's not the end of the world as all the action is happening at Nuart in Norway right now. Check out Numusic's and WallCandy's Flickr photostreams for more photos like this over the next few days.

The new East Beach Cafe at Littlehampton's East Beach (funnily enough) is an amazing structure - especially when seen from the back. It manages to look both out of place and yet natural at the same time. Made from steel and allowed to become weathered before being sealed with a oil based resin it retains the menu and prices of the previous cafe (cups of tea, 99's with flake) from a kiosk on the side. Once inside its curvaceous hull, however, there is a far more adventurous menu with views directly out to sea. Find out more on the official website here.
